FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What styles of photography and videography do you prefer?

As a team, we stick to a classic and timeless style — natural colors, thoughtful composition, and a clean, elegant aesthetic that won’t go out of fashion in a few years. At the same time, we always look for unique angles and creative moments to make your photos feel personal and special.

While each of our team members brings their own artistic touch, we all work in the same visual direction — combining classic wedding photography with attention to details, emotions, and storytelling.

Our videography also follows a storytelling approach — your film may begin with the ceremony, then blend in footage from getting ready, speeches, or the couple’s walk. The storyline isn’t strictly linear — we often use emotional voiceovers and live sound, layered with meaningful visuals to create something deeper than just a sequence of events.

We always capture the key moments, of course, but the real magic happens in between — whether it’s candid documentary footage or gently guided shots, depending on how comfortable you feel on camera. We adapt to every couple, and in the end, we aim to create a film that feels truly yours — not just a record of the day, but a story about you.

2. How do you edit photos and videos?

All our packages include professional editing — and we take this process seriously.

Every photo goes through several steps: first, our team of retouchers selects the best shots and applies color correction to enhance skin tones and natural light. Then we carefully retouch the images to clean up any obvious distractions, smooth out tones, and give each photo a polished, timeless look. We also always include a few elegant black-and-white edits for variety.

Our videos go through a full post-production process handled by our experienced editors. First, we review and organize all footage, cleaning and selecting the strongest moments. Then we shape the story — building a cinematic narrative with emotion, rhythm, and meaning. We also enhance the image (shot in a flat color profile) and finalize the sound, adding the finishing touches to give your film its unique style.

By the time your gallery and video are delivered, every frame has been thoughtfully crafted to reflect your day in the most beautiful and memorable way.

3. How many photos will I receive?

We guarantee a minimum of 50 edited photos per hour of coverage — that’s our baseline. But in reality, we usually deliver much more than that, especially if your wedding is packed with events and guests.

For example, on a full 8-hour wedding day, our couples typically receive 800 to 1,000 photos — sometimes even more, depending on the pace of the day. We don’t hold back good shots — if it’s a beautiful moment, it makes the cut.

So while 50 per hour is the minimum, expect your gallery to feel full, rich, and complete.

4. How soon will I get my photos and videos?

We know how exciting it is to relive your wedding day — that’s why we deliver a sneak peek gallery within 72 hours after the wedding, so you can share a few favorite moments right away.

Your full photo gallery and final video will be ready within one month. We work quickly, but never rush the creative process — every image and every frame is carefully edited to reflect the beauty and emotion of your day.

5. How does payment work?

To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit is required after signing the contract. This deposit confirms your intention to work with us and allows us to reserve the day exclusively for you.

The deposit amount depends on the size of your team:

$200 if you’re booking one photographer

$400 for two people (for example, two photographers)

$800 for a full team of four (two photographers + two videographers)

The remaining balance is due one day before the wedding, so you can fully enjoy your day without having to worry about any payments. We want the experience to feel smooth and stress-free from start to finish.

6. Can I customize a package to fit my needs?

Yes, we can create a personalized package if the standard options don’t suit your needs. You can also add extra hours or additional services.

7. What if I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera?

Don’t worry! We can capture your day in a documentary style, or you can book an engagement session with us to get comfortable before the big day. This helps you feel more relaxed and see us as friends rather than strangers with cameras.

8. Is travel time during the wedding day counted as working hours?

Yes, travel time is considered working hours if it occurs during the wedding day. For example, if it takes 2 hours to travel from the ceremony to the reception venue, that time will be counted as part of the working hours.

9. How are transportation costs calculated?

Transportation costs are calculated at $0.70 per mile (round trip) — this rate is based on the 2025 IRS mileage reimbursement guidelines and helps cover fuel, vehicle use, and travel time.

For example, we’re based in Los Angeles. If your wedding is in Santa Barbara (about 90 miles away), the round trip would be:

90 miles there + 90 miles back = 180 miles

180 × $0.70 = $126

But here’s what to keep in mind:

The final travel fee also depends on the size of the team. If you’re booking a photographer and a videographer, and they’re coming from different parts of the city, the total cost would be calculated for each person separately. So in the same Santa Barbara example, it might be:

$126 × 2 = $252

We always do our best to organize travel efficiently — grouping team members together whenever possible to reduce costs. But sometimes, due to schedules and availability, they travel separately. That’s why travel fees are calculated individually for each event, based on the distance and the size of your team.

Feel free to ask us for a custom estimate based on your specific location and package!

10. Can we order additional video content?

Yes, you can order additional films. For example, besides the 10-minute highlight film, we can create a documentary-style film that includes all the best moments from your wedding day.

11. Do you recommend hiring more photographers and videographers for larger events?

Yes, we do. For weddings with more than 60–80 guests, we recommend having two photographers and two videographers to ensure full coverage from multiple angles — especially during key moments like the ceremony, first look, entrances, speeches, and dances.

For Jewish, Armenian, Indian, and other cultural weddings, where the day is often rich in traditions, dynamic events, and fast-paced transitions, we strongly suggest a larger team. These weddings typically involve many important rituals happening in different locations or simultaneously — and having extra team members allows us to document everything without missing a beat.

If you’re not sure what your wedding will require, we’re happy to talk through your schedule and suggest the best setup for your day.

12. Can we get access to the RAW footage or unedited photos?

We don’t include raw, unedited materials by default, as we believe in delivering only fully polished, curated work that reflects our standards. However, if you’d like to receive the raw footage or original photos, this can be arranged for an additional fee and by special request.

Please note:

– Raw files take up a significant amount of storage space — often hundreds of gigabytes — so you’ll need enough cloud or hard drive capacity to store them.

– The cost of raw materials depends on the volume of the footage and is discussed individually.

– Raw files are only stored for a limited time after the final delivery of your wedding gallery and video.

– Cloud links also remain active for a limited period.

13. Do you ensure privacy for personal moments, like vows or letters?

Absolutely. We respect your wishes for privacy. If you prefer to keep personal moments, such as vows or letters, private, we will exclude them from online trailers while including them in your artistic film.

14. Do you use lighting equipment?

Yes, we use lighting equipment when needed, especially during speeches and the first dance, to ensure key people are well-lit.

15. What is your experience in wedding photography and videography?

We’ve been capturing weddings for over 10 years — and we still love every moment of it. Every member of our team has at least 5 years of experience, but most have over 10, and some even up to 14.

Thanks to this experience, we’ve seen just about everything that can happen on a wedding day. That means we know how to stay calm, make quick decisions, and find the best solution in any situation. It also helps us anticipate what’s coming next — almost like we can feel the moment before it happens. So we’re always in the right place at the right time, ready to catch those once-in-a-lifetime shots.

16. Can I order a wedding album?

Absolutely! If you love the feeling of holding your memories in your hands, we offer beautifully crafted physical wedding albums. Prices start at $350, and we have several styles and formats to choose from. If you’re interested, just let us know — we’ll send over the options and help you pick the one that fits your story best.
